Terms of service

Upon receiving your arrangement, Francis Foliage will start pressing your flowers immediately. After the drying process is complete, we will send you a preview of the floral layout arranged in your frame of choice to ensure you love it. Price includes the drying of flowers, framing fee and cost of the frame. Our frames are completely sealed shut and cannot be dissembled once completed. Each wooden frame has a slit cut into the back that allows it to be hung horizontally or vertically on any wall.

We have a gorgeous selection of natural wooden frames to choose from. Each frame is handmade right here in Buffalo, NY. Each frame is completely unique thanks to the natural variations in the wood. A clear sealant is used on the frames to enhance the natural wood grains. We do not add any extra color to the wooden frames.

We offer three frame sizes, 8x10, 11x14 and 16x20. We also offer smaller frames that can be purchased as add-ons such as a 6x8 petite frame or an ornament. Our dried floral ornaments are radiant gold hexagon frames, and our petite frames are available in our handmade wood frames. If you want a larger frame or different dimensions, just ask!

Framing Process:

Once you have paid for your desired frames we will contact you with further instructions on getting your flowers to us. Once your date approaches and we receive the flowers we will start pressing them.

We can include photos, invitations, or any flat-laying memento in your frame. If you would like a photo in your frame you will provide us with the photo. Charms and trinkets cannot be added in our low profile frames. Some flowers naturally press better than others. We will use our best judgement to place the most perfect flowers into your frame. Extra flowers that will not fit into the frame or that did not press well will be composted.

As we begin to arrange the flowers onto the glass, we will send you a photo to ensure you love the layout. We are able to change the layout of the flowers up to two times before the frame is sealed. An additional fee will be charged if we have to adjust the layout three or more times. It is a long process that takes up a lot of space in our studio arranging your frames. We use our finest artistic abilities to create gorgeous frames for you to take home!

By accepting these terms you agree to the following:

-Refunds must be initiated no later than 7 days before the event
-If a refund is requested within the 7 days leading up to the event a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the initial costs
-Once we receive the flowers your order is no longer refundable
-Francis Foliage will press my flowers in whatever condition they arrive; already dried or dead flowers cannot be pressed
-Francis Foliage will not return any unframed or loose pressed flowers
-The floral artist will arrange the pressed flowers in a way that will best represent the flowers
-Two frame layout alterations are able to be made before curating an additional fee of $20 per further alteration, this applies to EACH frame/ add on that is rearranged. 
-Invitations, photos and flat laying mementos are able to be added to the frame but charms and trinkets are NOT able to be added
-Any items such as ribbons, charms or vases should be removed from the bouquet before drop off. If they are left on, they will not be returned
-All Francis Foliage frames are permanently sealed shut after the final framing process and cannot be altered or changed in any way
-Pressed flowers are all natural and are subject to fading and discoloration over time
-If there are any issues with the final frame we must be made aware within 14 days of receiving the frame
-Frames must be picked up within 90 days
-If there is any damage to a frame during the shipping process we must be made aware immediately
-The pressing and framing process can take 4+ months
-I agree that I have read this Custom Frame Agreement in its entirety
-I agree to reach out to Francis Foliage with any questions prior to dropping off my bouquet
